- Discuss similarities and differences of recess activities between students in Bardonia, NY and students in Alaska
- Create a blog for students to post comments discussing the different recess activities
- Students will also be able to post pictures of their recess creative play

- Students from Bardonia and Alaska will participate in a blog discussing recess games, free play, sports and activities they enjoy at recess
- Students from Bardonia will develop friendships and acquire knowledge directly from students in Alaska
- Students will recognize how weather effects the daily routines, attire, and school life of children living in different climates
Review
- Students will read, analyze and discuss the postings of the blog
- Students will create a venn diagram comparing and contrasting recess leisure activities in Bardonia, NY and Alaska
- Students will write a creative essay comparing and contrasting their lives to children living in Alaska
Standard 2: Students will access, generate, process, and transfer information using appropriate technologies.
