Here's a great timeline creator from Steve Dembo's Digital Passports: "Dipity.com can serve as a traditional timeliner, and it will work well, but it can also become your FriendFeed with benefits."
I checked it out and it looks great. What a great wat to tell a digital story. I plan to use it with a World War II study I'm doing with students this week.

Another tool: Apture
Thanks to Will Richardson (Weblogg-ed) for another tool post: Amazing Add-on for Blogs: Apture. I checked out Apture which is a multimedia tool that allows you to easily add video, audio, text and almost anything else from Web sources or even local files as a pop-up to whatever word or phrase you designate in your post. I plan to try it on our school wikis this week.
