Joe Brennan recently blogged a set of Discovery Education streaming Resources for Digital Storytelling. Simply go to the Professional Development area in the Trainer’s Toolkit. Log in to access links for tutorials on the use of iMovie , MovieMaker , PhotoStory , Adobe Premiere Elements . I currently have students who are attempting a ThinkQuest project involving special effects. These tools will be useful.

Ask the Expert

James Tubbs misterteacher.com has just posted one of the best ideas I've seen in a long time. It's called the Wyoming Ask An Expert Blog. He uses it to connect students with a professor at the University of Cincinnati Clermont. Students post their questions and it gets answered by an expert. What a great idea! When you check out the blog page it gets even better.
